About the CCC course
CCC, the Course on Computer Concepts, is a computer literacy programme designed by NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology, formerly known as DOEACC). It covers the computer skills that every citizen and office employee needs: using a computer and operating system, working with documents, spreadsheets and presentations, using the internet and email safely, and making digital payments. The CCC certificate is often asked for in government job notifications, which is why many students take it.
It is important to understand who does what. The CCC exam is conducted, and the certificate is issued, by NIELIT. NETWORK NET prepares you for that exam: we teach the full syllabus, give you practical practice on every topic and help you get ready for the objective-type questions. The course is planned around the 80 hours of learning that the CCC programme is built on, which usually takes about two to three months depending on your batch.
Exam dates, registration steps, the exam pattern, passing criteria and fees are decided by NIELIT and can change. Always check the official website, nielit.gov.in, for the current details before you register. Our CCC exam preparation guide also explains how to plan your study.
Who should join
- Candidates applying for government jobs where the notification asks for a CCC or similar computer certificate
- Government employees who need CCC for confirmation or other service requirements, as per their department’s rules

- Beginners who want a structured, exam-based introduction to computers
- Anyone who wants to use computers, the internet and digital payments with confidence
Check your job notification: Requirements differ between departments and states. Some accept CCC, some ask for a higher qualification such as NIELIT ‘O’ Level, and some accept other certificates. Read the exact wording of the notification you are applying for.

How the training works
- Practical classes: each topic is explained and then practised on the computer, because practical understanding makes theory questions easier.
- Small batches: a low number of students, so beginners get individual attention.
- Flexible shifts: morning, afternoon, evening and weekend batches.
- Assignments: short practical tasks after every chapter, from file management to online forms.
- Module tests: chapter-wise objective tests to find weak areas early.
- Final project: a practical exercise that brings together documents, spreadsheets, presentations and internet tasks, followed by full-length practice tests.
- Doubt-clearing: revision sessions before your exam date to go over difficult topics.
Online safety is part of the CCC syllabus and of daily life. Our article on cyber safety tips for students is useful extra reading.
