This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when and how you can cancel a course enrolment or booking with NETWORK NET, a computer training institute in Delhi, India, and how refunds are processed. It applies to payments made online through networknets.com (including our shop) and to payments made at the institute. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Summary: cancel 7 or more days before your batch starts and you get a full refund minus a small processing fee. If we cancel or reschedule a batch, you can choose a full refund or a free transfer. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7 working days.
1. Key terms
- Registration / booking amount: a part-payment made to reserve your seat in a particular batch. It is adjusted against your total course fee.
- Course fee: the total fee for the course as confirmed at admission, whether paid in full or in instalments.
- Batch start date: the date of the first scheduled class of your batch, as confirmed to you.
- Working days: Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays observed by the institute.
2. Cancellation by the student
The refund you are eligible for depends on when we receive your written cancellation request. The table below applies to all amounts you have paid towards the course fee, including the registration/booking amount, but excludes the non-refundable items listed in Section 5.
| When you cancel | Refund |
|---|---|
| 7 or more days before the batch start date | Full refund of the amount paid, minus a processing fee of 5% of the amount paid (subject to a maximum of US$10) |
| 1 to 6 days before the batch start date | 50% of the amount paid, or a free transfer of the full amount to a later batch |
| On the batch start date or within 7 days after it | 25% of the amount paid, or a transfer of the full amount to a later batch (one transfer only) |
| More than 7 days after the batch start date | No refund. A batch transfer may be allowed at our discretion (see Section 4) |
Not attending classes, or stopping attendance without informing us, does not count as a cancellation and does not entitle you to a refund. Unpaid instalments that are due under an agreed instalment plan remain payable for the period up to cancellation, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
3. Cancellation or changes by NETWORK NET
- If we cancel a batch before it starts, or postpone its start by more than 14 days, you may choose either a 100% refund of all amounts paid (with no processing fee) or a free transfer to another batch or course of equal value.
- If we are unable to continue a batch after it has started and cannot offer a suitable alternative batch, we will refund the fee for the part of the course not delivered.
- If we decline your admission after receiving payment, we will refund the full amount paid.
- Minor changes such as a change of trainer, classroom or a short rescheduling of individual classes do not entitle you to a refund, but we will always try to accommodate genuine difficulties.
4. Batch transfers
We understand that plans can change because of exams, work or family reasons. You may request a transfer to a later batch of the same course, or to a different course, subject to the following:
- transfers are subject to seat availability in the requested batch;
- one free transfer is allowed if requested before, or within 7 days after, the batch start date;
- further transfers, or transfers requested later, are at our discretion and may carry an administrative charge, which will be told to you in advance;
- the new batch should start within 3 months of the original batch start date, unless we agree otherwise;
- if you move to a course with a higher fee, you will pay the difference; if you move to a course with a lower fee, the difference may be refunded under the timeline in Section 2 or kept as credit, at your choice; and
- an amount that has been transferred to a new batch is not refundable once the new batch has started.
5. Non-refundable items
The following are not refundable once paid or used, because they are paid to third parties or have already been provided:
- examination fees paid or forwarded to third-party bodies, such as the NIELIT CCC examination fee, once remitted to that body (any refund is subject to that body’s own rules);
- certificate fees, once the certificate has been processed or issued;
- printed study material, kits or other items already handed over to you; and
- charges levied by banks or payment gateways that are not returned to us, where the refund is requested by the student for reasons not caused by us.
6. Duplicate, failed and excess payments
- If you are charged twice for the same order, or pay more than the amount due, we will refund the duplicate or excess amount in full once it is confirmed.
- If money is debited but the transaction fails or the order is not confirmed, the amount is usually reversed automatically by your bank or the payment gateway, often within 5 to 7 working days. If it is not, please contact us with the transaction reference and we will help.
7. How to request a cancellation or refund
- Email [email protected] with the subject line “Cancellation / Refund Request”.
- Include the student’s full name, phone number, course and batch, date and mode of payment, order number or receipt number, and the reason for cancellation (optional, but it helps us improve).
- For students under 18, the request should come from, or be confirmed by, the parent or guardian who paid the fee.
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days and confirm whether a refund is approved, and the amount.
The date we receive your written request by email is treated as the cancellation date. You may also call us at +91 93500 90607 for help, but please follow up by email so that we have a written record.
8. Refund timeline and method
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days of approval.
- Refunds for online payments are made to the original payment method (card, UPI, net banking or wallet) through the payment gateway. After we process the refund, your bank may take a further 5 to 10 working days to show it in your account.
- Refunds for payments made at the institute by cash or bank transfer are made by bank transfer (NEFT, IMPS or UPI) to an account in the name of the student or the parent/guardian who paid. We may ask for bank details and a copy of the receipt.
- We do not make refunds in cash or to third-party accounts.
9. Your rights
This policy does not affect any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law. If you are unhappy with a refund decision, please contact our Grievance Officer as described in our Privacy Policy, and we will review it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The policy in force on the date of your admission or payment will apply to that admission.
