This Cookie Policy explains how NETWORK NET, a computer training institute in Delhi, India, uses cookies and similar technologies on networknets.com (the “Website”), what each type of cookie does, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
Your choice: apart from cookies that are strictly necessary for the Website to work, we set cookies only if you agree through our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the link below.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit it. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as items in your cart, whether you are logged in, or your consent choices. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called “first-party” cookies; cookies set by another service, such as an analytics provider, are called “third-party” cookies.
Cookies can be “session” cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies, which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. Similar technologies include local storage and scripts that perform comparable functions; we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- make the Website work, for example to keep your course booking cart and checkout working through WooCommerce;
- keep the Website and user accounts secure, for example through the Wordfence security plugin and WordPress login cookies;
- remember your cookie consent choices through the CookieYes consent banner; and
- if you consent, understand how visitors use the Website so that we can improve it.
We do not use cookies to sell your personal data. Fonts, icons and scripts on the Website are hosted on our own server, so loading our pages does not place cookies from font or icon providers.
3. Cookie categories
Our cookie banner is provided by CookieYes and groups cookies into the following categories. You can accept all categories, reject all non-necessary categories, or choose individual categories using the “Customise” option.
3.1 Necessary
These cookies are essential for the Website to function and cannot be switched off through the banner. They are used for security, login, your shopping cart and remembering your consent choices. They do not store personally identifiable information beyond what is needed for these functions. Under applicable law, these cookies do not require consent.
3.2 Functional
Functional cookies help perform certain features, such as remembering your preferences or allowing content to be shared on social media platforms. We currently use few or no functional cookies beyond WordPress interface settings for logged-in users; if we add any, they will be set only with your consent.
3.3 Analytics
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Website, such as which pages are visited most and how visitors arrive at the Website. The Website may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) only with your consent through the cookie banner. If you do not consent, these cookies are not set.
3.4 Performance
Performance cookies are used to understand and analyse key performance indicators of a website, such as loading speed, to help provide a better user experience. We do not currently set performance cookies; if we do in future, they will be set only with your consent.
3.5 Advertisement
Advertisement cookies are used to show visitors customised advertisements based on pages they have visited and to measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns. We do not currently use advertisement cookies on the Website. If this changes, we will update this policy and set such cookies only with your consent.
4. Cookies we use
The table below lists the cookies that are likely to be set on the Website. Exact names may include a unique identifier (shown as *), and durations may vary slightly with plugin versions and your settings. Our security plugin, Wordfence, also records IP addresses and request information in server-side logs to block malicious traffic. These logs are not cookies; they are described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party services
When you make a payment, you may be taken to, or shown a window from, a third-party payment gateway. That gateway may set its own cookies for security and fraud prevention, which are governed by its own cookie and privacy policies. Likewise, if you follow links to external websites, those websites may set their own cookies.
6. How to change your cookie consent
When you first visit the Website, the CookieYes banner asks you to Accept All, Reject All or Customise your choice by category. Your choice is saved in the cookieyes-consent cookie.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the button below or the cookie preferences link on the Website. Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies already used before withdrawal, but you may also delete existing cookies through your browser.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. You can usually find these options in the browser’s “Settings”, “Privacy” or “Security” section, for example:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies / Delete browsing data
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
- Safari: Settings (or Preferences) > Privacy
Menu names may differ between browser versions and devices. Please note that if you block all cookies, including necessary ones, some parts of the Website, such as the course booking cart, checkout and login, may not work properly. You can also use browser add-ons provided by analytics services, such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, to stop analytics collection.
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use or when the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. If we add new categories of non-necessary cookies, we will ask for your consent again through the banner.
9. Contact us
If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact NETWORK NET, Delhi, India, at [email protected] or +91 93500 90607.
